Project Description
The Government of Sierra Leone; through the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MoTHE) and Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE); has received a loan facility from the Saudi Fund for Development (SDF), OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) for the implementation of Sierra Leone Support of Education Project (SLSEP). The project is one of the priorities of the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL); as it falls within the framework of the country’s human development strategy and the promotion of education, which is in line with the strategy of fighting poverty in its second phase and with the country’s educational plan that aims to develop human resources by universalizing education and raising its quality and efficiency.
The consultancy services cover the construction and renovation of the following:
- Milton Margai College of Education; Godrich Campus
- Milton Margai College of Education; Brookfields Campus
- Milton Margai College of Education; Congo Cross
- Government Secondary School in Magburaka
- Prince of Wales Secondary School in Kingtom
- New Administrative Building for the Ministry of Education in New England
