Six New Schools around Doha and in Qatar Villages– Stage (8)

Project Description

With a total BUA of 63,566 m², the project comprises six new schools around Doha including:

Primary School for Girls – Al-Shamal: consists of 2 floors and 25 classrooms with a total BUA of 9,946 m².
Preparatory School for Boys – Al-Shamal: consists of 2 floors and 25 classrooms with a total BUA of 9,996 m².
Primary School for Boys – Al-Shamal: consists of 2 floors and 25 classrooms with a total BUA of 9,946 m².
A School in Karrana: consists of 1 floor and 14 classrooms with a total BUA of 6,150 m².
Aba- AlHerran Schools (1) and (2): each consists of 2 floors and 30 classrooms with a total BUA of 9,175 m².
Al-Rayyan School: consists of 2 floors and 25 classrooms with a total BUA of 9,175 m².

Schools comprise classrooms, art rooms, laboratories, library, teachers’ rooms, administrative offices, assembly & multipurpose halls, auditorium, canteen, kitchen, pantries, toilets, changing rooms, services rooms, ancillary buildings, water tank yard, sports courts, hardscape and softscape, shaded structures, parking, boundary walls, fence, and gates, in addition to external site services.

The buildings are of reinforced concrete structure with block work infill. The assembly and multipurpose halls are covered with space frame/steel structure and roof cladding.
