ECG was an elite sponsor of the “Intelligent Cities Exhibition & Conference: Delivering Sustainable Intelligent Cities for the Future Generations” held on the 28th and 29th of September 2016 at Fairmont Heliopolis Hotel, Cairo, Egypt. The event was organized by Root Technologies under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Investment (MOI), Ministry of Environment (MOE), and Ministry of Housing, Utilities & Urban Development (MOHUD). Main speakers included MOHUD New Urban Communities Authority Vice Chairman Kamal Fahmy, MOE Environmental Quality Sector Head Dr. Mona Kamal, and Al-Beheira Governor Dr. Mohamed Sultan.
The event brought together a large number of distinguished speakers, senior-level decision makers, and participants, including business persons from well-known firms, all looking forward to the future of Egypt’s construction industry. The exhibition and conference aimed to discuss various topics, including Smart Infrastructure, Smart Buildings, Industrial Technologies, Smart Cooling, Modeling & 3D Mapping, Energy & Sustainability, HVAC Smart Systems, and BIM & Laser Scanning.

In a presentation titled “Intelligent Cities Integration Portfolio,” Mr. Sorour shed light on a number of important topics relating to the development of intelligent systems. Mr. Marcos participated in a discussion forum titled “Benefits & Challenges of Mixed-use Developments.” The discussion was followed by a Q&A session, during which the inquiries of attendees were addressed.
